BAILEY HOUSE HOSTS 1ST ANTIQUE SHOW & TELL

The Bailey House Museum in Wailuku will hold its first annual antique show and tell on Saturday, August 8th. Families are invited to present heirlooms, antiques, curios and artwork pertinent to Hawaii and the Pacific Asian basin. Together, attendees will experience a moment of living history as items are professionally reviewed and evaluated.

Professional evaluations will be conducted by: A. Pak’e Zane, Julie Lauster, Wayne Morioka, Marc Kobayashi and Bren Bailey. This year’s event will have there categories of prizes for “Best in Show,” “Most Historically Significant,” and “Most Hawaiian.”

There will also be live entertainment, slideshows, a silent auction and pupus.

General admission is $5. Those with a current membership or purchasing a year’s membership to Maui Historical Society will be admitted free. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult.

The event runs from 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th at the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku.
