Grants Central Station’s Fundamental Five NonProfit Training Series: Strategic Planning Workshop – MOLOKAI

This workshop is designed for nonprofit directors, key staff management, and board members eager to create a multi-year mission-fulfilling roadmap that inspires their team, their community, and potential funders.  Attendees will explore the fundamentals of long-range strategic planning and organizational Identity Statements (i.e. vision, mission, values).  We’ll guide you through a process to define your agency’s competitive advantage in the “marketplace” and help you identify your Critical Success Factors.  Veteran strategic planner and organizational effectiveness expert Leslie Mullens of PLAYBOOK Consulting Group leads us through an innovative step-by-step method to set the achievable goals that define an agency’s success.  Sharing best practices, she’ll teach us a revolutionary process that empowers leaders to act instinctively in everyday crises.  Attendees will leave with the tools and skills to leverage your agency’s unique attributes to face difficult challenges and take advantage of unexpected opportunities.

This eclectic collection of native Hawaiian service agencies in rural Molokai is modeled after a kulana kauhale, or Hawaiian village, and employs varying indigenous forms and building materials including lava field stone, elongated roof ridges, red plaster walls and rough-wood finishes.
