Maui Band Hopes To Raise Funds For Samoa Relief

A group of entertainers on Maui have joined forces to help raise funds for tsunami and earthquake relief in Samoa.  Members of the Maui-based band “Off Tomorrow” who are originally from American Samoa, launched the “Samoa Tomorrow” fundraising effort to bring awareness and relief to those affected by the September 29, 2009 events.

The band’s management company, Malosi Entertainment is joining forces with Church on the Go and Artistry8 to organize food drives to assist with the effort.  The group is also considering the possibly of launching a series of benefit concerts to boost awareness.

The group is seeking donations of water, rice, canned goods, dried goods, clothing, blankets, baby formula, diapers, and hygiene products.  Donations can be dropped off in Lahaina at Executive Transportation Service, and in Kahului at Extra Space Storage on Alamakani Street.
