Minit Stop launches 2010 Project Grad fundraiser

As part of its effort to support local education, graduating seniors and families, Minit Stop stores is launching its first Safe and Sane Project Grad 2010 program.  From March 1st through April 30th customers can drop loose change into coin cans at the counter with funds collected going towards the 2010 Project Grad night activities.

In addition, those who want to make $1 donations will get their name on a “graduate cap” which will be posted at the store. The 8 Minit Stop Maui stores have also worked out an agreement to donate 10 cents from every bottle of Snapple tea and juices sold through April 30th towards the campaign.

The grad night is designed to provide a safe and memorable post-ceremony celebration, while helping to prevent teen deaths caused by drinking and driving on graduation night.

One hundred percent of all funds collected will go toward supporting 2010 Project Grad night activities at participating Maui island public and private high schools.
