The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory for the Summit of Haleakala on Maui.  The advisory will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010.  A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph are expected.

Winds will be in the 25-25 mph range with higher gusts today.  Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.  Motorists are advised to use extra caution and secure any loose objects that may become airborne, or move them indoors.
