VIDEO: Maui firefighters respond to blaze at Maui High School

Maui firefighters returned to the scene of a blaze near the agricultural area of Maui High School on Monday night.  The blaze was initially reported at 5:35 p.m. and was declared contained, but crews were called back to the scene shortly before 10 p.m. No buildings were damaged and the fire remained well away from residences in the area.  The cause is under investigation.

Maui firefighters are responding to a blaze located on the grounds of the Maui High School campus.  The fire was burning in the agricultural area of campus near the West Papa Avenue side of campus.  The fire was initially reported at 5:35 p.m. and was declared contained, but crews were called back on scene at 9:50 p.m.  No buildings appeared to be in immediate danger and the fire remained well away from the roadway and away from nearby residences at last report.
