50 Meter Pool at Kihei Aquatic Center Closed for Pump Repairs

The 50-meter pool at the Kihei Aquatic Center is closed for repairs to a circulation pump motor.  The announcement was made today, Friday, October 22, 2010 by the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation. The training pool and keiki pool at the complex, however, remain open.

The 50-meter pool is expected to remain closed through the early part of next week; reopening may be subject to the availability of parts. The public is advised to call the Maui County Pools information line at 270-8208; the recorded message is updated daily by 9 a.m.
