Hookipa Beach Park Half-Day Closure Monday

The County Parks and Recreation Department plans to implement a half-day closure of Hookipa Beach Park on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 5:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The temporary closure is due to work scheduled for the replacement of the existing lifeguard tower. A larger lifeguard tower will be put in place. The parking lot will not be available to vehicles due to heavy equipment being used during the temporary closure. Ocean access and pavilions will remain available.
