LIVE Election Returns on UHMC Channel 55

Pacific Radio Group and the University of Hawaii Maui College join forces again to provide live coverage of the 2010 General Election returns. The multi-media partnership includes radio, T.V., and internet coverage presented in a joint effort with Maui media professionals and UH Maui College students.
The live simulcast of election results and commentary will be broadcast on KNUI AM 900 and the University of Hawaii Maui College’s, MCTV Cable Channel 55, along with a live streaming link at MauiNOW.com. Live wall-to-wall coverage of the November 2nd General Election begins at 5:30 p.m. and continues as results are received.
The programming will originate from the UHMC studios located on the first floor of the Ka’aike Building at the Kahului Campus. A candidate reception will be held in the foyer of the building as well as live interviews and commentary from within.
The Decision 2010 coverage is co-hosted by KPOA Program Director Alakai Paleka, Program Director Fred Guzman, and Pacific Radio Group News Director Wendy Osher; and features UHMC student co-hosts and interviewers. UHMC students appearing on November 2nd include Heidi Marcz, Sweetheart Eleneki, Luke McClean, Uvette Sakamoto and Kelly Potts.
In addition to the wall-to-wall coverage on KNUI Fox News 900 AM and MCC Channel 55, and the live stream at MauiNOW.com, Pacific Radio Group will also provide election result updates on the five other stations it owns on Maui
