As a result of this accident, a pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. The 49-year-old man was in the roadway when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle on Kaahumanu Avenue near the Wharf Street intersection. November 15, 2010 at 10 pm – Hana Hwy-36 at Kamehameha Ave, Kahului is closed. Motorist traveling Wailuku bound on Hana Hwy are diverted onto Kamehameha Avenue due to a traffic accident. Time of closure be be determined.
