Maui County was added to the Flash Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service today.  A Flood Watch means conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.  The Maui Watch is in effect from Thursday night through late Friday evening.

A separate Watch was issued for Kauai County early this morning.  Forecasters say an approaching front from the west combined with an upper level trough will lead to unstable conditions across the Garden Isle beginning tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
