4 Car Accident Slows Morning Commute in Kihei

The Piilani Highway is now open in both directions. The southbound lane was temporarily closed earlier this morning because of a 4-car accident. Maui Police say the accident has been cleared and the road is now open as of 7:57 a.m.

Road Advisory South Maui: Traffic in the southbound lane of the Piilani Highway in Kihei is being redirected onto Kaonoulu Street. The southbound lane of the highway is blocked because of a four-vehicle traffic accident reported at around 7:18 a.m.
