Renowned photographer Ananda Fierro is visiting Maui and on Monday, February 7th she will be photographing pregnant women along the coast of Maui’s north shore. Ananda has been photographing pregnant women on the West Coast and is thrilled expand her project to Maui. Her goal is to educate people, through the creation of compelling visual images, on the connection between nature, birth, and the human body.

“After spending years as a massage therapist, working with many pregnant women, I noticed that many women were struggling with the visual changes taking place in their bodies. I decided to use my expertise as a photographer to capture the beauty of pregnancy in the natural world as a way of expressing the powerful beauty these women possess,” states Fierro.
