Maui Adult Day Care Centers’ (MADCC) Annual Family Caregivers Walk is scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 7 am to 11 am.  The walk starts at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center and proceeds through Ke’Opuolani Park.  An optional Mini Mall walk will also take place.

Incentive prizes will be awarded to individuals as well as teams for various levels of participation and fundraising success.

Kathy Collins will be host the day’s activities which will include entertainment by Danny Couch, Pacific Vibes and Friends Forever and a visit from Bubbles the Clown.  A health fair, massages, refreshments and door prizes will also be part of the fun.

Maui Adult Day Care Centers provide a social daytime therapeutic program for individuals who are frail, elderly, individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other related forms of dementia, and adults who are physically and mentally challenged.  The organization’s mission is to provide adult day care services to Maui clients in a family environment that is safe, filled with love, and provides support to their families and caregivers.

Currently, MADCC has four locations on Maui.
