On April 21, the Maui Economic Development Board will offer the next workshop in its popular High Tech Maui educational series for business, entitled “Using Online Video for your Business”. 

Online video is the latest online marketing tool hitting business websites and customer handheld devices.  Learn from a Maui online marketing expert how to use this often inexpensive and very accessible marketing tool to drive sales, build brand awareness, and boost customer interaction.

This 3-hour workshop will focus on using online video to inform and educate customers, explain and describe products and services, and connect and engage with target markets. Attendees will generate ideas for videos, begin to develop scripts, and create effective digital media stories.

Jeff Bennett, owner of Digital Media Splash, is the instructor. Bennett has been a web/multimedia developer for 15 years and has 8 years of online video experience.

The event will be held at the Maui Research and Technology Park, in the Maui Economic Development Board’s Malcolm Center building, from 9 am – 12 Noon. Cost is $35. Seating limited to 20.  Laptops are not required or needed. Register online.
