New Zealand’s reggae sensation, Katchafire, returns to Maui this weekend to celebrate the release of their latest CD, On the Road Again.  The Maui stop on Sunday, April 17, is the grand finale show for the group’s Hawai’i visit.

The group was formed in 1997 as a reggae tribute band and has since released four full length albums.

The concert will feature the latest songs off their new release, as well as favorites like, “You’re Dreaming,” “Seriously,” “Who You With,” “Colour Me Life,” “Shanking,” “Feels Like,” and “Love Letter.”

Opening the concert are Roots-dub-reggae band, Ooklah The Moc.

The show starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Pavilion and Amphitheater.  Tickets are $35 plus applicable fees.  Tickets can be purchased in person at the MACC Box Office, by phone at 242-SHOW (7469), or online at MauiArts.org.
