AARP Retirement Security Event in Paia May 23

AARP Hawaii hosts a retirement security event today at the Kaunoa Senior Center in Paia. The free session features an overview of state and national developments on Social Security, Medicare, and more. The event is designed to help older residents make sense of issues affecting their retirement plans.
“The economy is taking a toll on Hawaii retirees and anyone planning for a secure financial future,” said AARP Hawaii State Director Barbara Kim Stanton. “This session is designed to help older residents make sense of issues affecting their retirement plans.”
The session runs from 9 to 11 a.m. and registration is required by calling 1-877-926-8300.
