Family-owned and locally-operated Ace Hardware Hawaii and Ben Franklin Crafts have “cooked up” another fundraising cookbook for Aloha United Way.

The new fundraising cookbook’s theme centers on child and child development, which is a major focus area for the United Way and is entitled “Mixing Things Up: Recipes from the Past, Ingredients for the Future.” The cookbook consists of over 140 recipes with dishes that company employees loved to eat growing up, but also recipes their children or family still enjoy today.

Owner Paul Mizoguchi said in a written statement, “We hope you enjoy all the recipes that are included in this cookbook just as they brought many enjoyable memories for each of our families.”

100% of the cookbook’s sales will benefit the nonprofit agency.  The cookbook sells for $10 and will be available from now until the end of the year.  The cookbook can be found at participating Ben Franklin Crafts and Ace Hardware Hawaii stores in Washington, Oregon, Nevada and on the islands of Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island.
