Maui police say the body of a Haiku man, reported missing last week, was found in Kahului three days after he was last seen.

Michael Martin, 69, was reported missing after he failed to return from a doctor’s appointment on March 6.

Police say his body was recovered from his vehicle, which was parked in a lot near the Kahului rental car area.
