VIDEO: Globetrotters to Bring Hilarious Hoops to Maui

Hilarious hoops, silly skills, and crazy court action comes to Maui as the World Famous Harlem Globetrotters perform at the War Memorial Gym on Friday, May 11, 2012.
The team is visiting Maui as part of their 2012 Championship Tour, which also includes stops on Oahu (at 2 and 7 p.m. on May 12, at the Neal Blaisdell Center) and Hilo (at 2 p.m. on May 13, at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium).
Team leader Big Easy Lofton is joined on the court by dribbling sensations Handles Franklin and Scooter Christensen; sharp shooter Buckets Blakes; high-flying dunkers Bones Millien, Bull Bullard and Hops Tucker; 7-foot rookie Stretch Middleton and TNT Maddox, the first female player since 1993.
The Original Harlem Globetrotters celebrate their 86th consecutive year, carrying on a world-famous tradition of ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment.
Touted as a must see family fun event, the program is filled with monster dunks, funny antics, and amazing technique, that is expected to leave fans laughing out loud.
The Harlem Globetrotters have entertained more than 128 million fans in 120 countries, becoming the first sports team to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Throughout their 86-year history, the team has worked to promote team spirit, sportsmanship, loyalty, dedication, and recreation.
The Harlem Globetrotters’ 2012 appearances mark their first such visit to Hawaii in twenty years.
