BRIEF: Moloka’i Laynet Registration Begins

Registration for the use of laynets on Moloka‘i begins next week Wednesday, April 4, 2012.

Officials from the Department of Land and Natural Resources Aquatic Resources Division will be on island from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mitchell Pau‘ole Center conference room in Kaunakakai.

Staff will also be available to answer questions or address concerns about various marine resource management issues and rules.

The department will also be issuing commercial fishing licenses and providing information on how to use a new on-line licensing and commercial fish catch reporting system, which is available on the internet.
