Organizers of Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pā‘ū Parade & Ho’olaule’a are accepting applications for vendors and parade participants.

This year, the event will celebrate Hawai’i’s ali’i through the State Commission theme: “Holomua Kamehameha” – Honoring the 125 years of Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop’s educational legacy.

One of the goals of the Planning Committee is to build and gather community. “It is through this parade and ho’olaule’a that we create a venue to not only honor our ali’i but to educate as well. By doing this, we keep all that they have done for us alive,” said Daryl Mauliola Fujiwara, 2012 NKCPPH, Planning Committee Chair in a statement.

Vendors that apply are asked to be “Made on Maui” as organizers aim to support local business.

For more information, contact Daryl Fujiwara at (808) 264-8779, or via email at [email protected].
