Maui “Hiring our Heroes” Job & Career Fair

A “Hiring our Heroes” job and career fair is planned on Maui to assist active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military and veteran spouses in need of work.
The free event will run from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Waikapu.
This hiring event is hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce’s “Hiring Our Heroes” Program, and is co-sponsored locally by: the US Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service; Workforce Development Division Worksource Maui; Office of Veteran Services; Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve; and the United States Army Reserve.
Participation is free for employers and job seekers, but they must pre-register by June 4, 2012 by clicking on the link: www.uschamber.com/hiringourheroes/events and scroll down to the Maui tab.
