Maui County Council candidate for Kahului, Don Guzman announced that he will be having his Maui Campaign Rally on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 5:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Maui Waena School Cafeteria, Kahului. Suggested donation amount is $15. There will be food, door prizes, and entertainment. The event is open to the public.

Guzman said he is looking forward to meeting with Maui residents, talking about his campaign, and hearing their ideas on how county government can be improved.

Guzman, is a former deputy prosecutor for the County of Maui and runs a small general practice law firm. He also served on Congresswoman Mazie Hirono’s staff as the Maui Field Representative and was a legislative aide in the Hawaii State House of Representatives.

As of May 17, 2012, campaign filing reports indicated that a total of three individuals had filed for candidacy for the Kahului Council seat including Guzman, Alan Fukuyama, and Erin McLaughlin.
