Maui’s Kapalua Beach was named to a national list of best beach vacations in the US.

The ranking, released by editors of Coastal Living magazine, featured 21 locations identified as the coolest getaways for different types of travelers.

Kapalua Beach on Maui was selected for its stunning beauty and abundance of coral and tropical fish in nearshore waters.

Also featured on the list was Kauai’s Hanakapiai Beach, chosen for its rust-color palisades on the Garden Isle.

The list is included in the July/August issue of Coastal Living, on newsstands now.
