State crews continue road maintenance and repair projects across the island of Maui this week.  The following are some key projects on tap for the week of August 4 to 10, 2012.

Hana Highway Storm Damage Repairs:  Crews are conducting daily road maintenance on the Hana Highway to repair storm damage caused during heavy rains in March. Work runs between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. between mile 10 at the Garden of Eden and Mile 16, near the Keanae Peninsula. The highway will remain open during construction, but may be limited to one lane at times while repairs are being made. Repairs are expected to be completed by February 2013, weather permitting.
