The wet weather that prompted Flood Advisories on Maui on Wednesday has since passed, and the National Weather Service is forecasting a drier weather pattern today and tomorrow.

According to forecasters with the NWS, a weak surface high is building north of the islands, bringing northeasterly tradewind weather to the state.

Another cold front is forecast to reach the state over the weekend, bringing another round of unsettled weather, according to the NWS.

The weather forecast in Kahului calls for mostly sunny skies today with isolated showers.  The NWS forecasts highs to be near 79, and winds to be blowing from the Northeast at around 13 mph.
