We all know what a bar crawl is, but that may be a bit much for a Tuesday night (or, more accurately, for your head come Wednesday morning).

So what about a walkabout event focused on eating?

Enter “Dishcrawl,” an online national network of foodies focused on supporting local chefs, farmers, and restaurants.

The Dishcrawl community is bringing its first-ever event to Maui tomorrow night, highlighting four restaurants on the west side beginning with Pacific’o. The other three restaurants are a secret and will be revealed as the night goes on.

For $45 you and 29 other people will meet at Pacific’o at 7 p.m. for the first of four locally inspired dishes and cocktail (not included, but available for purchase) pairings.

Walk historic Lahaina and try locally grown tomatoes, onions, garden herbs, fresh fruit and more.

Not a meat eater?

Vegetarian options are available, as well.

Tomorrow’s crawl is capped at 30 crawlers, but event organizer Aimee Paradise is hoping to increase it to 40 and potentially even 50 to 100 for private venues and featured chef events in the future.

A few tickets are still available for tomorrow night’s crawl.

We welcome your feedback. Please let us know if you hear of any new restaurants opening or reopening, total menu overhauls, or simply know of a hidden treasure you want to share. Have a restaurant you want reviewed (or re-reviewed)? Drop us a line – Vanessa(@mauinow.com)
