Ing to Host Lawmakers Listen Community Meeting TONIGHT

Representative Kaniela Ing of Maui hosts a Lawmakers Listen community meeting tonight in South Maui.

The event is part of an ongoing series of community town hall meetings across the state featuring district Representatives, House leaders, and Committee chairs, Ing said in an announcement.

In addition to Ing, other Maui lawmakers participating in the event include:  Rep. Joseph M. Souki, Speaker of the House and Rep. Mele Carroll.

Other participating legislators from across the state include: Rep. John Mizuno, Vice-Speaker; Rep. Scott Saiki, Majority Leader; Rep. Karen Awana, Majority Floor Leader; and Rep. Sylvia Luke, Finance Chair.

The Lawmakers Listen event runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at the Kīhei Charter School stage room, located in the Līpoa Center in the old Hapa’s location near First Hawaiian Bank on East Līpoa Street.
