Repairs to Shut Off Water to Part of Kahului TODAY

Parts of Kahului will be without water on Friday, Sept. 6, due to main line repairs and preventive maintenance, officials with the Department of Water Supply said.

County officials say the work is projected to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, and will affect water service to customers on the following streets:

  • Hōlua Drive from Kea Street to the south intersection of Lālani Circle;
  • Naholo Circle from Hōlua Drive to Ikai Street; and
  • Lālani Circle from Hōlua Drive to Pūʻolo Place.

The water department advises that affected customers should store water for the day if necessary, and flush lines for a short time once service has resumed to clear any sediment that may have accumulated.
