BRIEF: Maui Pool Closures for October

The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation, Aquatics Division announced several pool closures during the month of October for lifeguard renewal certification and pool maintenance.

Closures for lifeguard renewal certification include: Kīhei Aquatic Center, all day on Monday, Oct. 7; Kōkua and Kahului pools, all day on Friday, Oct. 18; and Lahaina Aquatic Center, all day on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013.

The Old and New Wailuku pools will both be closed all day on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 10 and 11, 2013.

The public is encouraged to call the county pool information line at 270-8202 for recorded pool hours and closures.  The recording is updated daily by 9 a.m.
