The Queen Kaʻahumanu Center has announced the planned addition of yet another national retailer to its list of stores scheduled to open this year.

The center, located in Kahului, will be home to the first Charlotte Russe store on Maui and in the neighbor islands, according to the announcement.

The news comes on the heels of an announcement last month that footwear and apparel company Vans will open a at the center in late summer; and Tikiz Shave Ice & Snow Shakes opens its first Hawaiʻi location at a kiosk within the food court this month.

Charlotte Russe is a mall-based chain that has more than 500 stores in the US and Puerto Rico.  The company offers access to fashion trends at “value-oriented prices” with a “spotlight on women in their teens and early twenties.”

“We’re thrilled Charlotte Russe selected Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center for its first Hawai‘i location outside of Oʻahu,” said Todd A. Vines, marketing manager of Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in a press release statement. “Charlotte Russe will be a perfect fit for Maui and compliment Queen Kaʻahumanu Center’s growing roster of national, name-brand retailers.”

The Charlotte Russe store will be located two doors down from the future Vans store and Wet Seal, with opening slated for late summer of 2014.
