In the big scheme of things, Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras and the risk of chipping a tooth on a King’s Cake is, well, over.

Nonetheless – and presuming you didn’t give up drinking, dancing and/or costumes for Lent – this Saturday, March 8, you can attend the third annual Maui AIDS Foundation Mardi Gras event at the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Wailuku.

The event is hosted by Trish da Dish and entertainment is provided by Kit Kat Cabaret and Glamity, followed by dancing to tunes provided by DJ LaRage, DJ Kurt and DJ Trvr.

Don’t forget to dress up, as there will also be a silent auction and prizes for the best costumes.

The earlier dinner is sold out, but the events listed above are still available to those 21 and over beginning at 9 p.m.

The event raises money for those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS on Maui.
