Young Creatives Student Exhibit:

The Schaefer International Gallery opens their biennial student exhibit this Sunday, May 4, 2014.

According to a MACC announcement, “the Art-Rageous Summer Program was launched in July 2013 as an opportunity for promising young visual artists of high school age to mentor with artist-in-residence Wes Bruce. Their year-long exploration and art-making efforts is the central foundation for this exhibit. In addition, teachers of Maui students in grades K-12 were invited to augment the exhibit with works produced through the classroom that communicate ideas about the touchstones of a young journey.”

The exhibit can be viewed May 4-24, and is open every day except May 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is free.
