Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel announced two new hires today in its sales and marketing divisions in response to enhanced global marketing efforts by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.
The new hires include Tiffany Rosenthal as the sales manager, and Jennifer Welsh as the hotel’s new marketing assistant.
Rosenthal most recently served as marketing manager for more than three years at Maui Diagnostic Imaging, and held prior hospitality roles at Walt Disney World Co., the Marriott Maui Ocean Club, and the Ritz-Carlton Club Kapalua as a marketing executive and guest relations coordinator.
“My previous experience in hospitality and marketing has allowed me to collaborate with various departments on numerous projects and goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize these experiences to support my efforts at Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel,” said Rosenthal in a company press release.
In her new capacity, Rosenthal will be tasked with developing efforts in travel agent and group sales markets, the announcement said.
Also joining the sales and marketing team is Jennifer Welsh who will serve as the marketing assistant.
According to the announcement, Welsh’s previous employment included work as marketing coordinator at Kapalua Resort, and projects manager at the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin.
“I am very happy to be back on Maui, and have the opportunity to work at Hawaiʻi’s Most Hawaiian Hotel,” said Welsh in the company press release.
“With a stronger focus on global marketing from HTA, it is essential for Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel to continue to lead the visitor industry in the preservation of Hawaiian culture,” said General Manager Mike White in a company press release.
“As we share our Hawaiian culture with various cultures across the world, we look to additional staff to not only help us continue to place an emphasis on Poʻokela, the excellence for which we are known, but to help us capture expected growth in global market share that will result from HTA’s efforts,” he said.
