BRIEF: Haleakalā Fee Free Day, Sept. 27

Haleakalā National Park is waiving entrance fees for all park visitors today, Saturday, Sept. 27, in celebration of National Public Lands Day.
Park officials say this fee-free day is one of nine offered in 2014 by the National Park Service.

The next fee-free day (and last one in 2014) will be Veteran’s Day, on Nov. 11, 2014.
