Maui Police Release Photos in Alleged Credit Card Theft Case

Maui Police have released surveillance images of a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with an case involving the alleged fraudulent use of a credit card.

The victim reported the incident on Nov. 4, 2014.

According to police reports, the victim reported that an unknown suspect utilized his credit/debit card to make purchases at multiple locations including Office Max in Kahului, Amigos in Wailuku, Longs Drug store in Wailuku and Lahaina, Walgreens in Wailuku, and Safeway in Lahaina.

Police described the male suspect as in his 30s to 40s, standing 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 150 to 160 pounds, with brown hair, a light beard, mustache and receding hairline.  Police say the suspect was wearing an orange t-shirt, light blue surf shorts, slippers and sunglasses in surveillance footage.

Police say the suspect fled in a late model silver or tan Buick Century or Buick Park Avenue, with an unknown license plate.
