The Maui Police Department responded to 21 burglaries, 11 vehicle thefts, and 13 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over the seven-day period between Dec. 21 and 27, 2014.

The number of burglaries was slightly down from the previous week. Burglary incidents decreased to 21 incidents reported for the week—down from the 24 incidents reported the week before.

The number of vehicle break-ins was half the amount reported a week earlier. Vehicle break-ins decreased to 13—down from the 26 incidents reported the week before.

Vehicle thefts remained at 11—the same number as reported the week before.
