Impassable roads as of Jan. 3, 2015 at 7 a.m.:

  • Waipalani Road in Ha‘ikū is impassable due to power lines blocking both directions. 
  • Ali‘i Drive in Wailuku is impassable due downed trees and power lines blocking both directions.
  • Pi‘iholo Road from Makawao Avenue is closed due to downed trees.
  • Olinda Road in Makawao is blocked near Seabury Hall.
  • Kokomo Road is impassable in both directions.
  • Kekaulike Avenue and Foster Place is impassable in both directions.
  • South Kīhei Road between North Kīhei Road and Uwapo Road.

Reopened roads:

  • South Kīhei Road between Ohukai Road and 211 South Kīhei Road in Kīhei is now open in both directions.
