UPDATE: Missing Kīhei Man with Alzheimer’s FOUND

***UPDATE: 5:44 p.m. 2/20/15: A Kīhei man reported missing on Thursday, Feb. 19, has since been located. Maui police say Frank Corbett III was located by the Kīhei Patrol Division in good health. Police say Corbett was in the Kīhei area when bystanders called in that a male was in the bushes on private property. Corbett was positively identified as the person missing. Police thanked the community for their support and efforts to find Corbett.
***UPDATE: 3:48 p.m. 2/20/15: Maui police released an updated photo of a missing Maui man who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. Seventy-four-year-old Kīhei resident, Frank Corbett III was last seen leaving his home for a routine morning walk on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015. Police say he remained missing as of Friday afternoon. If located, the public is asked to notify Maui Police Dispatch by calling 244-6400 (anytime) or Detective Jeffrey Mahoney at 875-5409 (Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.).

Maui police are seeking the public’s help in finding a missing Maui man who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Seventy-four-year-old Kīhei resident, Frank Corbett III was last seen leaving his home for a routine morning walk on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.
Friends reported him missing when he did not return home.
Police say Corbett’s exact clothing is unknown, but he usually wears a white Polo-type shirt, shorts, and slippers.
Friends describe his appearance as unkempt with a whitish beard, and Maui police say he may appear to be homeless.
According to police reports, Corbett stands 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighs 185 pounds, has a gray and whitish beard and brown eyes.
If located, the public is asked to notify Maui Police Dispatch by calling 244-6400 (anytime) or Detective Jeffrey Mahoney at 875-5409 (Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.).
