North: A northwest swell is expected to fade through the day bringing waist to shoulder high waves early in the day.
West: Knee to thigh high waves are expected at the breaks open to the northwest. Otherwise, pretty flat conditions elsewhere due to heavy shadowing and a declining swell.
South: Ankle to knee high waves are expected today.
Our current northwest is expected to continue to fade Monday. Another west-northwest swell is expected to build on Tuesday and peak on Wednesday morning with waves possibly in the overhead range at the best spots.
Possible storm development off of Japan may bring a swell for first few days of March. Will keep an eye on it.
Only small SSW for now but a fun sized swell is possible the middle of next week.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
