Bullseye the Bull Terrier, the official mascot of Target Corporation, was on Maui for the island’s first Target store.

Maui’s first sneak peek of its long-awaited Target store was made available through a media-only event on Tuesday, March 3, in the Puʻunēnē Shopping Center. In attendance were Mayor Alan Arakawa and wife Ann, Target Store Team Leader Scott Hayes and his staff, and of course, Bullseye the Bull Terrier, the official mascot of Target Corporation.
Kahu Kimokeo Kapahulehua lead the traditional Hawaiian blessing to open the store.
Eager Maui shoppers will no doubt line up early for the soft opening of the 140,000-square-foot store on Wednesday, March 4, at 8 a.m.
The Grand Opening date is Sunday, March 8. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
