Hansen Road Pavement Reconstruction Scheduled

***Update: Company officials issued an amended notice indicating that construction will begin on Monday, March 16, instead of the previously published date.  The new notice also advises that Hansen Road will be closed to the public until February 2016 while construction is underway.

Goodfellow Brothers construction company begins a pavement reconstruction project on Hansen Road on Monday, March 16, 2015.

The project includes road resurfacing, power pole relocation, and shoulder reconstruction along Hansen Road between Spanish Road and the Hāna Highway.

Hansen Road will be closed in the project area during repairs.  Motorists are advised to use Hoʻokele Street as an alternate route.

Access to the Puʻunēnē post office will be maintained via the Mokulele Highway and Pūlehu Road will remain open during construction.
