Today
Mostly sunny skies are expected today. In the afternoon local sea breezes are expected to bring increased cloud cover and the possibility of isolated showers, mainly for leeward spots. Haze is expected to spread up from the Big Island (see UHSOEST vog model above). Winds are expected to be variable and veer out of the northeast around 15 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.

Tonight
Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers likely in windward areas. Leeward spots are forecasted to get isolated showers. Breezier northeast winds are expected from 15 to 20 mph. Low temperatures of 65° to 71° expected.
Looking Ahead
A weakening front northwest of Kauai is expected to reach the islands on Thursday as it dissipates and loses steam. Behind this front a return to trade winds is forecasted, which is expected to continue through early next week. Lingering moisture will enhance windward showers through the weekend.
