“When the economy shifted in 2009, the wedding industry felt a small transition in business, however over this last year we have been fielding more calls for island weddings,” said Taylor.

“Destination weddings are not necessarily more expensive than a traditional wedding, and can often times even save you money,” said Taylor. “Typically smaller than traditional weddings, getting married in Maui is no more expensive than getting married in the Pacific Northwest, and we have the expertise to make Maui wedding dreams a reality.”

Vendor relationships are imperative in Hawaiʻi and finding the right wedding coordinator is an important factor to a seamless destination wedding, a release by PR Newswire said. TME provides an approachable Seattle-area destination wedding planning solution for the busy engaged couple looking to get married in a special locale, the release continued.

Taylor has personally toured, met with, seen and researched each vendor with whom she works. The TME team focuses on the logistical details of planning and knows the history and significance of each venue to add another layer of meaning to the occasion.

Taylor has also authored an ebook that offers tips for the entire wedding party.

Maui provides a beautiful backdrop for nuptials–only a six-hour flight and a two-hour time difference from the Pacific Northwest, the release continued.
