Core Four Business Class Graduates; Another Session Scheduled
By Maui Now Staff
Eighteen students graduated from Maui Economic Opportunity’s Core Four Business Planning course on April 21, 2015. The graduating students received a Certificate of Achievement and a congratulatory dinner.
Mayor Alan Arakawa participated in the graduation, encouraging the graduates to keep their commitments and never give up on their dreams.
The students also heard words of encouragement and advice from Maui County Councilmember Mike Victorino.
At the graduation ceremony, the soon-to-be entrepreneurs worked with bankers from Bank of Hawaiʻi, First Hawaiian Bank and Central Pacific Bank, receiving suggestions on how to improve their business plans and what to expect from commercial lenders.
