Public Help Sought in Finding Missing Man with Service Dog

The Maui Police Department is asking for the public’s help with a missing persons case involving Christopher Edward Steele, who also goes by the name “Sonny.”
Police say Steele was reported missing by an acquaintance on Monday, May 18, 2015, and was last seen at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Wailuku Town.
Police say Steele should be in the company of his black and white Labrador-Pit bull mix service dog. According to police, Steele may be operating his white, Pontiac Montana minivan, bearing the Hawaiʻi license plates NNA026.
Steele is described as 46-year-old African American man, standing 6’1” tall, weighing 140 pounds, with black dreadlocks and brown eyes. He also has tribal type tattoos on both of his shoulders.
