UPDATE Missing Person LOCATED: Besiko Recently Arrived from the Marshall Islands

A 24-year-old man who recently arrived on Maui from the Marshall Islands was reported missing by family members.
Police say Kency Besiko arrived at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, and walked from the airport to his cousin’s apartment in Kahului where he left his belongings.
According to police reports, Besiko then left on foot without disclosing where he was going.
A family member filed a police report at around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, saying Besiko has not been seen since his arrival, and expressed concern for his safety since it is his first time to the island.
Police say they conducted checks at hospitals, the correctional center, airport, and malls; however, were unsuccessful in locating Besiko.
Police say Besiko does not have a cell phone and is likely traveling on foot.
He is described as a Micronesian man, standing 5-feet, 4-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Besiko.
