Habitat to Hold ‘Buy-a-Block’ Build-a-Thon July 18

Habitat for Humanity Maui will present the Buy-a-Brick event at Maui Mall in Kahului on Saturday, July 18, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the stage area.

This event will promote awareness of, and help eliminate substandard housing and homelessness in Hawai‘i.

Great entertainment and prize give-aways will take the stage with Habitat for Humanity Partner families, who will share their stories.

Join prominent business owners on Maui to help raise money by buying a block to construct a house. Watch as the house takes shape, symbolizing a house being built for a deserving family.

This event coincides with the 9th Annual Build-a-Thon, which will take place statewide with all seven Habitat affiliates.

Habitat for Humanity Maui has been committed to building affordable housing since 1997 and has built or renovated over 100 homes for the people of Maui.
