Mele Ukulele and The Shops at Wailea will host Ukulele Mix Plate on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 12 and 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Shops at Wailea fountain courtyard, where guests can take part in an entertaining learning experience about Hawai‘i’s official instrument and cultural treasure.

Over the past 20 years, Mele Ukulele has developed valuable and influential relationships with many of the best ‘ukulele teachers on Maui. These teachers, along with some of Maui’s best ‘ukulele performers, will share their experiences.

Mele Ukulele will provide a number of complimentary ‘ukulele for the free introductory ‘ukulele lesson during the evening. Sign up at the Mele Ukulele retail location located on the second floor near Tommy Bahama.

Parking at The Shops is validated for five hours for a rate of $1 or a non-perishable food item—proceeds go to the Maui Food Bank. Stop by the Diamond Parking table in the fountain courtyard between 5:30 and  9 p.m. to have your parking validated.
